Hello, I’m Michele Welch and I’m the creator of multiple sites including NewBizBlogger.com, PackageYourGenius.com, and OnlineBusinessHeadstart.com (amongst others). I’ve made it my mission to teach other entrepreneurs and small business owners how to use online marketing strategies to maximize their business efforts; with a growing specialty in coaching them to gain clarity and focus in their message, what they offer and to whom, and how to create information products and programs to expedite their success.
But it wasn’t always this way….
I fell into the world of online marketing by complete accident. I started my own online business four years ago, yet I was struggling with it. I had successfully built a site, landing on the first page of Google within six months, and getting a regularly stream of customers, but I was miserable. I was working extremely hard for a very small profit margin and I was clear that I was not passionate about what I was doing.
Fast forward 1 1/2 years later after multiple requests from friends to help them create their online business, I decided to take a leap of faith and transition into training others on how to create and grow their online business. It was a scary, yet exhilarating, choice and I haven’t looked back since.

But here was another challenge I was having. As a stay-at-home mom with two very young children at home, I found it very extremely challenging to “get out there” and immerse myself into the physical marketplace. Going to seminars and workshops was a rarity and with starting my business on a shoe-string budget, I had my limitations.
So I began creating information products and programs…
I realized that creating information-based products can be a wonderful alternative (or supplement) to my business until I was able to financially begin to invest back in my business, which of course included getting babysitters!
But once again I was faced with another challenge.
